Who is Jan?
From the first plaid pot holder Jan wove as a child, to her intricately patterned wall hangings and patterned, twill, and lace art scarves, Jan is continuously intrigued by how yarns come together to “make something out of nothing”.
What is weaving?
Weaving is a way of creating fabric from strands of yarn, string or fiber etc. that are interlaced, usually at 90 degrees to each other. Archeologists have found woven materials that are estimated to be well over 10,000 years old. Today, weaving is an industry, a craft and an art form.

Three Kitty Kreations is a website and a marketplace for Jan’s weavings. As an artist, Jan hopes to share her knowledge and to share her creations with people who may find joy and peace in owning either Navajo-style or wearable art.
